Training Boat

The Canalboat Training boat is Riverweed, one of the unique Weed fleet boats built by Norman Clarke. It has all the facilities you would wish for a weeks canal enjoyment, let alone one or two days that you will take part in your course.

On board facilities included, working galley, with microwave, kettle, cooker and fridge. A back cabin can be used for storage space and the saloon is a good place to take some time out for lunch with the unknown British weather.

The aft cockpit allows for ample teaching space, a rare quality of the Weed fleet is this social stern that allows for serveral individuals to comfortable stand aft unlike the Traditional Stern designed boats. The bow cockpit is equally spacious and easy to get on and off of for mooring and lock tasks.

There is a fully fitted bathroom on board, should the unlikely or likely happen, of falling in or needing the use of a toilet.
